Braceshotel Rules & Regulations

Braceshotel Rules & Regulations
These rules apply to all sections of the forum, including private messages, user titles, signatures, profile comments, group names & descriptions, thread tags, arcade comments and reputation comments.
R1 - Do not give out Personal Identifiable Information (PII)
The giving out of PII is prohibited on Braceshotel. PII includes e-mail addresses, telephone numbers, user locations, school/college/workplace names, etc. PII is any of the above regardless if it is a business or if it's personal details.
Breaking this rule will get a warning placed on your account.
R2 - Don't use vulgar language or racial remarks on the forum.
Please don't swear or make any vulgar or racial remarks. This also includes using vulgar language or racial remarks made directly towards another member of the forum. Braceshotel have a word filter which will prevent vulgar language from being viewed, please do not avoid it. This includes using words, videos, images and other media to be vulgar or racist in any way.
Breaking this rule will get an infraction or ban placed on your account depending on the situation.
R3 - Don't create spam or multiple posts.
Spam or multiple posts are not tolerated on the forum, other than in the spam forum. Spam posts include one word replies, posts with no relevance to the topic and general lack of knowledge. This also includes using icons, spaces, fullstops, characters and smilies to avoid the word limit.
Breaking this rule will get an your posts edited, repeat offenders will get warnings added to their accounts, followed by infractions.
R4 - Don't post or link to Illegal or Forbidden Content.
Under no circumstances do we allow Illegal or Forbidden Content to be posted in any shape or form. Forbidden Content includes, but is not limited to; pornographic images or websites, images or websites of a vulgar nature, and the illegal distribution of pirated material, such as software.
Breaking this rule will get a permenant ban added to your account.
R5 - Don't use Hate Speech directly towards another user.
Please don't express your hatred towards another member, whether it be via private message, profile comments, posts, or any other method of contact on the forum. This also includes creating groups or tagging your threads with phrases which express hate, or harassment towards another member.
Breaking this rule will get an infraction placed on your account.
R6 - Don't sell Habbo goods for real life money.
Braceshotel takes no responsibility for anyone who is buying or selling any goods on the forum for real life money - this is done at your own risk, and we don't reccomend it. We forbid anyone to sell any Habbo accounts/furniture for real life money on the forum.
Breaking this rule will get an infraction placed on your account.
R7 - Account sharing is forbidden.
Sharing your Braceshotel account with another user of the forum to obtain a coloured username, access private forums, avoid bans or for any other purpose is forbidden.
Breaking this rule will get a 7 day ban placed on your account.
R8 - Do not use/edit Moderator/Administrator commands.
Please do not use any moderator's or forum management commands anywhere on Braceshotel. We also ask for you not to change them. If a moderator/administrator posts a command on your post for a reason you are forbid to change/remove the command made.
Breaking this rule will get an infraction placed on your account.
R9- No inappropriate naming of groups/tagging of threads.
Please don't tag your threads or create groups with any inappropriate words or phrases included.
Breaking this rule will get the group deleted/tag removed, and an infraction placed on your account.
R10 - Do not ask for / offer to giveaway reputation freely.
Reputation is to be earned, so don't ask other users for reputation, or offer to giveaway reputation to several users in "rep giveaways".
Breaking this rule will get a warning placed on your account and your post removed.
R11 - No sexual/inappropriate discussion anywhere on the forum.
Braceshotel do not allow members to discuss any sexual acts or any sort of discussion which is deemed inappropriate by the Habbo/Fansite way. If you get punished for doing something on Habbo, you will get punished for doing so on Braceshotel. There is no need to discuss any sexual acts on a teen forum, targeted at Habbo Hotel, nor is there any need to discuss inappropriate issues.
Breaking this rule will get a warning/infraction/ban placed on your account depending on the nature of the content.
R12 - No more than 2 images in your signature.
Members can have up to 2 images in their signature which are no larger than 500 x 250 pixels each. Placing two separate images to give the illusion that they are one image is also prohibited. Animated signatures are not allowed.
Breaking this rule will get the image removed from your signature & a warning on your account.
R13 - No YouTube videos in signatures.
Braceshotel do not allow members to have YouTube videos in their signatures for various reasons.
Breaking this rule will get a warning placed on your account.
R14 - Don't post threads against Administrators or Moderators actions.
Please do not create threads to reverse actions against our Moderation, Management and Administration team. This is not tolerated on Braceshotel. The moderator/administrator who made the action will make the decision. Please do not get other members of Braceshotel Staff involved or create hatred threads. This includes creating threads to critisize an Administrators or Moderators decision. If you want to query the sanction implied, please contact the Moderation and Support Administrator instead.
Breaking this rule will get an infraction placed on your account.
R15 - Posting to provoke / fuel an argument.
As we'd like to keep the community at ease, rather than have a whole guns blazing atmosphere on the forum, we don't approve of posts which are specificly targeted at another user with intent to create/provoke or fuel/continue an argument.
Breaking this rule will get an infraction placed on your account, repeat offenders will be banned.
R16 - No thread bumping.
Braceshotel doesn't allow you to post in a thread which has not been posted in for 14 days. However, stickied threads are an exception to this rule.
Breaking this rule will get an infraction placed on your account, repeat offenders will be banned.
R17 - Do not post advertisements for other forums.
Whilst using Braceshotel, you're unable to post advertisements for other forum communities, whether or not they're related to Habbo or not. This rule also applies to links posted in signatures, profile comments or anywhere else on the forum where you can publicly share information.
Breaking this rule will get a warning added to your account.
R18 - Do not create/use other accounts whilst banned.
Creating/using (an)other account(s) whilst banned is not allowed as this will result in you being able to gain access to the forum when you are not permitted to do so. This rule also applies to probation.
Breaking this rule will get a ban added to your other account(s) and will result in an extension to your original ban.
R19 - Do not abuse the reputation
Braceshotel has a feature where users can send each other reputation based on their posts and opinions. However, abusing the reputation system is not allowed. This includes sending constant unnecessary negative reputation to other users, constantly sending unnecessary random negative reputation, bullying a user over the reputation system or posting images in reputation comments. Braceshotel also has a feature to disable users from sending reputation to each other, this will be used when the administrator feels necessary.
Breaking this rule will get the reputation system removed from your account temporarily, then if continued, permenantly.
R20 - Let the Moderators Moderate
If someone's broken a rule please report it rather than replying. We also ask that you do not discuss bans/infractions on the forum unless they are in the correct issue thread. If you wish to query these please post in the appropriate issue thread. You should never ignore a moderators warning, go against what they have said or reverse their actions.
Breaking this rule will get a warning, infraction or ban added to your account depending on the circumstances.
R21 - Do not abuse Braceshotel Staff
Braceshotel does not allow you to abuse its staff. Braceshotel Staff work hard for the site and therefore do not deserve any abuse. This includes on the forum or on Habbo Client in the Council Room. If you are caught to be abusing staff for no reason at all you may be sanctioned for this.
Breaking this rule will get a warning, infraction or ban added to your account depending on the circumstances.
R22 - Do not troll the forum
You are not permitted to create an account on the forum for the purpose of trolling nor decide to start trolling the forum. Trolling is where a user makes deragatory, rude and unnecessary remarks on most of their posts and only created/uses an account on the forum for the purpose of being rude to others and uneasing the community.
Breaking this rule will result in an infraction, probation then a permanent ban.
